“Bridging International Law, Protection and Practice”

A calm body of water reflecting a line of trees with green foliage, under a pale sky.

I support organisations and institutions in translating international humanitarian and human rights law into effective, accountable programming and operational practice — in both stability and crisis.

Approach

My work is grounded in three core principles:

Prevention

I focus on identifying and addressing risks before they escalate into harm. This includes strengthening legal, policy and operational frameworks, and supporting organisations and institutions to anticipate and mitigate protection risks in both stable and crisis contexts.

Participation

I ensure that affected individuals and communities are meaningfully involved in identifying risks, priorities and solutions. My work is grounded in participatory methodologies and informed by the lived realities of those most at risk.

Practical implementation

I translate international legal standards into concrete, operationally relevant guidance. My approach bridges legal analysis with field-based experience to deliver solutions that are realistic, actionable and effective in practice.
